Carribean Stud is a poker game slightly different from its classical version. It is not played against other players but against the house. All the gamblers place their bets and then are given 5 cards and so is the house. Once the gamblers have received their cards, they can have a look at them and decide whether they go further or not. If a player decides to continue, he must place the cards face down on the tableand then place the bets on these cards. The bet will always double the intial sum. If a player will not carry on he will place the cards face down beside the bet. Cards will be taken along with the initial stake. Once everybody has placed a bet or withdrawn, the croupier will turn over his cards so that everybody can see them. In order to qualify, the dealer must hold an ace and a king; without this minimal combination only the first stake of the client will be paid 1 to 1, regardless of the player’s cards. In case he qualifies, the dealer will turn over each player’s cards in order to compare them to the house. If a player’s cards are higher than the house, then he will be paid according to the placed bet. If his cards are lower than the house, then he will lose the bet and the initially deposited sum.
